Yeah, the first season is pretty awful. It gets better (but no less cheesy) as the seasons go on. Personally, I love all of them, but that's just me

I like adventure stories with lesbians. I didn't like Gabrielle though. She should have died early on and been replaced with another girlfriend. I've only seen the first and last two seasons though, so I probably missed a lot of the Xena relationship building.

 

*was going to watch The L Word* But there are so many seasons to go through and I'm not sure it's worth it. Is it pretty good quality? Plus, turkish oil wrestling. :/
